The British Isles have a long history of cheesemaking and we are celebrating it with this sampler of fabulous cheeses. You'll get four varieties (at least 2 pounds total) as well as a loaf of crusty artisan bread. We’ll send you a Farmhouse Cheddar that has been suitably aged for deep-layered flavor and buttery texture. Colston Bassett Stilton is a blue cheese unmatched in its creamy texture and distinct flavor. Kirkham’s Lancashire, with its buttered cloth rind, has a lemony and yogurty flavor and moist, rich texture that is best described by locals as a buttery crumble. Gorwydd Caerphilly has outer bands on the upper and lower portions of the cheese that have a creamy texture and earthy aroma, while the middle strip provides for a more crumbly, lemony texture and scent. It is made using raw, unpasteurized cow's milk and traditional animal rennet. Enjoy all these with a hearty loaf of our Farmhouse Bread.
